Jui (pronounced zoo-eee) Pagedar, Senior Student of Guru Siyag shares her experience on the way to follow Gurudev:

I find that there are 2 kinds of disciples:

1. Who believe in Shakti, the inner Guru to guide them. The physical Guru is a reflection of the one who is on the inside… and should therefore be respected. The behavior or actions of this outer Guru however do not in any way affect them as they are in complete harmony with the inner Guru.

2. I find them in larger numbers — The ones who look to the physical Guru for guidance… they have seen glimpses of the inner Guru but don’t yet know how to build up on that… But because they have faith in the physical Guru and worship him as the awakened One… The Buddha… and faith of that magnitude is rewarded with grace… they too continue to progress…

So to answer your question (and by this point it must seem pretty convoluted to you) I think belief in a Guru or a prophet is simply a matter of faith. If you have faith that Guru Siyag is indeed the Comforter (for Christians), Moshiach (for Jews) or Kalki Avatar (The final incarnation of Vishnu for Hindus) then that’s the truth for you.

But as I understand it, recieving grace is not in any way contingent on regarding Guru Siyag as a Comforter or Messiah.

If at any point you, or anyone, loses faith in Guru Siyag and believes him promoting falsehood… then they are free to leave.

Besides which, religion is a matter of faith… what physical evidence exists that any prophets or Gods did exist?
